One of the creators of the Novichok-class poisonous substance, ex-GOSNIIOKhT employee Vladimir Uglev told The Insider whether he believes the statement of German doctors about Navalny's poisoning of Navalny, how exactly the poison could have been inflicted and what precautions the criminals had to take.

- German experts said that the toxic substance belongs to the class "Novice". Does this sound believable?

- I trust German specialists 100%. From "Novice" it can be a solution (for example, in dimethylformamide) of a solid analogue of A-234, namely, a solid A-242, plus the addition of some faster-acting substance that hides symptoms (for example, clonidine). A-242 is 100% analogous to A-234 in its toxicological properties, but since under normal conditions it is a solid with a melting point of about 96 degrees, it is practically safe by itself. It was with the A-242 solution that I received my last defeat, however, I acted quickly, dipping my hand into a solution of hydrochloric acid. But the upper part of the brush was sweating for several years.

- How long can Novichok be kept, could they have used old stocks against Navalny?

- As long as necessary in a closed vessel. On the ground - until it evaporates. I cannot know about old stocks, I have not been in the system for 30 years.

- What difficulties can arise in dealing with the "Novichok"? If a poisoner simply injects a spray from a can, say, onto a door handle, what precautions should be taken to prevent it from contracting itself?

- Some argue that, having received the antidote in advance, a person can calmly handle Novichok and, for example, put it on his hand, and then just say hello to Navalny. How plausible is this?

- There is no antidote against the Novice, and dipiroxime was recommended as a reactivator, but honestly, I don’t know how effective it is. A map was developed for us, in which Athens was to be used as an antidote, but the doctors during the briefing said unequivocally: do not inject anything, but urgently send to us.

- Could there be any problems at the airport during the transportation of the Novichok? Will he be found during inspection (if, for example, in a bottle of perfume)?

- Well, if they drove them, then they will also carry them. Will be packaged as perfume Nina Ricci, and what, will every woman smell all perfume?

- How long is the “Novice” found in the body? After a couple of days, is it still there, or is it possible to determine it only by what effect it had on the body?

- I have confidence that if we now exhume the deceased victims of A-230 and A-234 (the same Kivelidi, for example), they will find it.

- If we assume that someone has applied "Novichok" to the object that Navalny touched (clothes, suitcase), then how long must it take before another person can safely touch the same objects?

- It all depends on the ambient temperature. But for how long, I don't know. For some reason it seems to me that Alexey was put on his underwear (panties, socks, T-shirt ...). If someone touched this stain, they could also get some kind of defeat. Someone from the police (I was told - a woman) shouted that it was possible to be defeated by Navalny.

- How long does it usually take between contact with the Novichok and his active action?

- If it is a skin-resorptive lesion, then several hours. But again, everything depends on the dose of the incoming toxic substance, which in turn depends on the size of the area of ​​contact of the infected tissue with the skin.
