If you simply throw everything you hear straight at the wall the stuff that is actually worthwhile will get there faster than from people who make the effort required to confirm the stuff before throwing it at the wall.

Why do you say that?
From what I can tell net numbers from Dublin III transfers, even before the Brexit referendum, were measured in the tens or hundreds while asylum applications were measured in the tens of thousands.
