If you can really interact with anything, everyone, search info on all of them, get reaction, then...just how much fucking memory will it use, that all seems too fucking much, I mean, it would be awesome if you really could roam free and mess around with every citizen...etc. but it just sounds too good to be true. :)

8 core? wow

Not that I know, but could not stuff you mentioned be handled in/by cloud like here? I mean technically, not to be implemented in this game.

Misprint probably. The i7-3770 is a quad core. It probably means threads.

Don't know if this has been posted yet:

I sincerely hope Bioware aren't going to pull a Mass Effect 3 ending on this where, the only way you can save the world is to destroy magic and anyone who uses it or force everyone to become magic users.

What exactly are you upset about? Because the game is optimized towards one brand of graphics card? This happens a lot, the GTX cards have some benefits that the other cards don't at the moment. Stuff like Physx for one and the stuff listed in this video.

This game will still work on other cards, it just wont look as good because the ATI cards don't have these benefits yet, or they aren't selling them to game developers well enough. Want to be angry at someone be angry at ATI.

They do know how to make trailers/intro videos.
Sound interesting. Wondering if it will be able to offer a suitable alternative to Galactic Civilisations 3.

It isn't the first time Civ has done a "What happens when the rockets land" gametype. There was a certain version of Civ2 that came with a heavily modded scenario (officially done) that did just that and it was a blast.

Isn't Civilization in Space been done before? Sid Meyer's Alpha Centauri, Master Of Orion 1,2, and 3, Galactic Civilization 1,2

Alpha Centauri is pretty much what this is going to be I suspect. MoO and the like are a little different but it is also possible this will have some similarities to them.

In fact I wouldn't mind a Civ style game that each planet was like a map from Civ but you were doing this across multiple planets with a style of MoO. Allowing a sorta Macro/Micro control of your space empire.
