I need to brush up on my North African campaign. Yes, all ST is there but I usually stream it off somebody else. Hulu? Can't remember. Just watched TOS where Spock and Kirk are 30s gangsters.

Huh. Wouldya look at that. Hulu has all the Star Trek. Oh well... I leech it off Netflix or Prime, bc no ads.

The worst is Crackle, which is Sony, I think. More goddamn commercials then over the air TV. Hulu isn't too bad. I pay for Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime, which totals about what, $25 a month? Another 25 for internet. There's free shit on Pluto, Tubi, Roku, youtube, and antenna. Used to spend two hundred on cable and got less stuff. It's a brave, new world.

The only prolonged interaction I've had with Crackle has been the recent Alien documentary, which is a Crackle exclusive, for some reason. It was riveting. Iirc, the ad breaks were so-so, but what I do is transfer sound to my other device until the ads are done (my wireless headset can couple with 2 devices simultaneously).
Otherwise, Crackle and a bunch of other services lie dormant on my devices.
Hulu - I am always pleased to notice - has exactly zero ads during feature-length movies.
Added: I highly recommend Hoopla and Kanopy, if your area libraries participate. (Kanopy has tons of classics.) Zero ads there, too. Lots of hard to find content. Acorn TV is available free through RBdigital (also a library thing) - just needs to be "renewed" monthly.

Hoopla availability can be checked on this map.
Florida looks decently covered. You only need a library card from a participating location. Many branches allow you to sign up even if you don't live nearby.

The Righteous Gemstones - season 2 due before long. Usual McBride lol-fest in some ways but generally even better than his previous series' in part due to ridiculing religion and the religious.

FX has finally settled on a premiere date for season 4 of “Fargo.”
Season 4 was originally scheduled to debut in April, but was delayed for five months “due to the postponement of production related to the coronavirus.” It will now premiere with back-to-back episodes on Sunday, Sept. 27, with the remaining nine episodes airing weekly from there. Production on the fourth installment, which is headlined by Chris Rock, is scheduled to resume later this month, per FX.

I'm still watching Benidorm because my girlfriend has taken a shine to it. It's torture for me watching this. She says it's revenge for Breaking Bad, but she enjoyed Breaking Bad. Like what the fuck!
