If the Lib-Dems were stupid enough to do that again, all we'd get is another five years of relatively stable Tory government rather than one that is ready to topple. Any concessions they might get, like last time, would likely be irrelevant next to the harm it would cause. I doubt the Tories would be "rethinking austerity" if they knew they were going to remain in power.

Missing the elephant in the room, brexit and the clock is ticking.

A brexit without a deal doesn't mean a privatised NHS it means no NHS as we won't be able to afford it. The condition for a Lib Dem coalition should be a EU referendum and a new elections in 2 years time.

What is 'austerity' compared to that. The Lib Dem's need to sacrifice themselves for the good of the country

You think they'd stop Brexit? Based on the last concessionary referendum they got when they went into coalition, the best we'd get is a referendum on two different forms of Brexit. And a five year Tory government.

The Tories are ready to fall. Nobody should be supporting them.

Lib Dem should demand a 2nd referendum .

It's not about the Tory's falling its about the entire country. A Corbyn post Brexit country is going to be just as shut (and shit) as a Tory one. It's like discussing the in house movie on an aircraft about to crash

I wonder if people actually realise that the art 50 bomb is ticking or do they really think it can be defused at any time? If they do well they are certainly deluded.

Yeah. It's a diseased tree. You can prop it up for a bit longer, but it will just spread its sickness before falling anyway, having done more damage. It has already had a big wedge taken out of its trunk. Now just stand well clear and watch it fall.

It's a 200 metre high diseases tree with everyone at the top. When the tree collapses everyone falls down and breaks their neck.

No Corbyn government is going to be able to do an awful lot to reverse the damage of a Tory brexit. This isn't one government screws up and another comes in to change things until the public get bored.

This really is the UK's greatest crisis since 1940 (hey UKIP wanted us to go back to that time and they have managed)

It's not that I'm mean, It's just that you're always so wrong that I don't ever take much notice of your predictions. I hope you don't mind.

It cant be cancelled unless all 28 countries (including all federal governments), the Commission and EU parliament approves.

There are plenty of countries who want to fuck the UK.

Not least a substantial proportion of its own population, it would seem.

Having the UK begging for forgiveness would probably be enough (of course they would have to be seen but the public here as not begging but that is what diplomacy is for)

The Queen's Speech will presented to parliament with no deal done with the DUP.

That's smart enough politics. the DUP have basically said that they think Corbyn is the antichrist, and they'd do anything to keep him out of Number 10. Why offer them shit?
